Hi. Can I get a cash advance right after I enter in the basic training? I mean, example: if my depature is on 10/19, can i get a cash advance from the military on 10/21?
well, my husband recuiter told him that if i have difficulty with the money (while he is a t basic training) they could give him a cash advance…mmm…
i'm just asking if one person (x person) can get a cash advance.

    No, you can't. You are normally allowed to take advance pay with a set of PCS orders but you won't be getting your first set until you graduate AIT.

    why do you need a cash advance if your going to be in the military? They provide the things you need.

    I almost hurt myself laughing. I'm sorry. The miliary will not give you a cash advance if you have been in 2 days or 25 years. In fact in boot camp you won't get paid for at least 4 weeks and then only get $50 cash and the rest in your bank account.

    Cash advance in basic, sniffle, thanks I needed a laugh.

    absolutely NOT. for one, you aren't going in, your husband is. it's HIS paycheck, not yours. takes 6-8 weeks before initial pays hit the checking account that he sets up when he arrives.

    The military only gives pay advances during PCS moves, and then only one month's base salary. It must be repaid in monthly installments starting the next pay period as well.
